Educated on Listings - The Royal Road to Neighborhoods - Question: How can I best maximize my home search process?

Answer: Get the horse in front of the buggy and get pre-qualified at to your appropriate price range. Second, get on email updates here as it correlates with a good search program that automatically educates you on what a good deal is. Incidentally, I have found that it is looking at the St George homes for sale and pictures online, amenities and features of the homes, that seems to transcend or correlate as to the desirability of the neighborhood. Aside from getting on email updates, save your favorites into a property notebook along the way as part of your education process. That way you won't have to wonder and go back through listings to re-educate yourself and you'll be ready to seize on the right opportunities.

  • Select those that are of interest and call or email us for details regarding the MLS# or #'s of interest or of the homes and neighborhoods.
  • If possible drive the area to become accustomed to the neighborhoods, styles and curb appeal of your preference homes.
  • Let us know and we will research the homes you have selected and set appointments for those you are considering to purchase.

Be sure to call us, and only us, if you see other realtor signs or other opportunities you need information on. There are three important reasons for this.

  • You do not want to be duped into being represented by the realtor with the sign in the yard. For heavens sakes, that realtor represents the Seller and not you. If the Seller could get your business he/she would "double-end" and steal the commission devoted for YOUR agent that is already included in the asking price.  As long as you should mention that you are already represented, you will bypass any shmooshzing that listing realtor can do to swoon you into NOT being properly represented- this is by far the BIGGEST MISTAKE THAT BUYERS MAKE.
  • We represent YOU. We should be the first contact with each seller of a home you may consider to purchase. By doing so, this sets a standard of professionalism with any seller.
  • We are committed to YOU. We have the resources to find the answers and we do need your input to learn your likes and dislikes to help you find that Dream Home

And Remember...Questions, questions, questions ...there are never to many. Now is the time to become knowledgeable and comfortable with the choice of home to be purchased.

We will then be getting you ready to write an offer!
