Bryce Canyon National Park
Bryce Canyon really is a spectacle that is tucked a bit back into the Escalante Park, which traveling through such territory was well worth the experience. Looking out is fun, but if you can get out of the car, not just on the pull-out and look-out areas, it is well worth the traverse to go down into and amongst the hoodoos or "chimney stacks". One trail winds with such grace in and amongst these great stacks, as you are close enough to touch them, but you fear to because you know they are being subject to so much erosion, that if it snowed, you'd feel like the trails were forming such naturally adjusted banks of earth and if you went to slide off the trail, a hoodoo would bounce you back in. If you have DSL or a Cable modem that is the High Bandwith and if you have Dial-Up modem connection that is 56K- click on your appropriate link. You do have to wait about 15 to 45 seconds or more depending on your connection speed and connection.
