St. George Culture & The Arts

The area offers many St George culture and St George arts events, opportunities, things to go do, go see and hear. Productions such as Beauty and the Beast, Peter Pan, South Pacific and Oliver are sung and played here. Many of these production are put on by the local St. George Musical Theater.  And don't forget the Tuacahn Amphitheater set in the natural red rock canyon walls of Snow Canyon Park.

Because Las Vegas is only 2 hours away, some major productions from there can also find their way here. The Tuacahn Amphitheater appears to have a mix of productions while taking advantage of the finer arts performances regardless of cultural orientation. The St. George Musical Theater and famous Utah Shakespearean Festival appeal to the masses. In fact, the Utah Shakesperean Festival is world famous. While many travel from distant far off cities to the festival, local St Georgians travel 50 minutes north to Cedar City, Utah for that.
