Springdale, Utah
Springdale Utah is located in just east of Zion Park with lots to do as Zion Parks premiere tourist town. It is definitely designed with the visitor in mind, with many gift shops, art shops, restaurants, rental shops for biking, river walking equipment, and floating tubes. It is also home to the largest IMAX movie screen in Utah (9 times the size of a regular theater) showing popular motion pictures along with its daily adventure films. There is a lot to do in Springdale besides touring the gift shops - an animal park RV parks, motels, cabins, lodges, and an orchard to get fresh fruit in season. Shuttles can take you any place in town from the parking lot of the Zion Canyon Giant Screen Theater. You can also walk into the park from that parking lot, where you will be close to the parks' visitor center and to shuttles that tour the lower parts of the canyon.
