St George Transportation
The St George transportation system has had some bumps and hills... to go out around with increasing growth and challenges ahead. However, the city seems poised with several projects going on to keep out ahead of the problem. That is if you don't have to commute along the two busiest roads in town- St George Boulevard and Bluff Street.
At any rate, there is a lot of buzz around town about the new St George Regional Airport and beltway that will hook up with Hurricane, Utah.
The new airport will be one runway only and is being built in order to accommodate regional aircraft and Boeing-type jets.
The new traffic beltway will affect the southeastern, eastern and northeastern urban area. You will have to go to our St George Traffic page and check out the map showing these beltways.
To get a glimpse into St George roadway works the city has provided a wonderful online transportation projects map with interfacing on each project.
