Veyo Homes for Sale
Veyo sits alongside State Route 18, just north of Saint George it's right on the edge of the Dixie National Forest. An ancient and long dead volcano sits on the towns outskirts, the Veyo Volcano last erupted an estimated 11 thousand years ago, so no need to worry about volcano insurance. Veyo has a small hidden gem, the Veyo Pool & Crawdad Canyon. The town pool sits in a canyon that's adjacent to a river, you can go from swim in the pool to casting a line out to go fishing without ever getting in your car.
Veyo became its own town separate from Gunlock in 1918. With a populaton of 483 the town at least a large-small town. The town is known for making excellent pies at the ‘Veyo Pies and Bakery’ located right off of Main Street.
